Q1: Is it true that Imam e Zamana curses anyone who entitles himself as naib-e-Imam except the four naib-e-Imam appointed by the holy Imam himself?

A: It is prohibited to falsely claim to be appointed directly by the imam (peace be upon him) as his deputy.

Q2: Can we address any of our Marja as Naib-e- Imam?

A: Being the deputy of the imam (peace be upon him) has several aspects, some of them fits the marja like the ability to give fatwa and to be the judge in personal conflicts and some others aspects does not apply on him. It is permissible to intent the ones that apply to the marja when you address him.

Q3: What is the role of Merjieya in the new democratic Iraq?

A: The policies of the previous dictator regime in Iraq were focused on personality worship and the use of all Iraqi resources, capabilities and establishments to strengthen his throne. Once the mentioned regime collapsed, the religious leadership – the Merjeya directed the Iraqis to fill the legislative, political and security gaps.
The Merjeyat did not enforce a particular kind of regime.
