Q1: I have a sister and she is 9 years old and she can not fast in Ramadan beacuse she is so thin, so does she have to fast?

A: If she completed nine lunar years she must fast unless fasting causes harm to her health.

Q2: On most occasions I fast every month thank god, but sometimes I get exsessive headaches, and water is the only relief. I know we are not allowed to drink water during fasting, but is there a penalty if I fast but drink water so as to relive my heaches, is there a kaffara, what can I do?

A: If fasting was critical, then you can break it and make it out later and keffara is not required.

Q3: If someone intentionally doesn't fast does that mean they have to pay kaffara as well as keep the qadha - have to make them up?

A: If they broke their fast knowing that they were obligated to fast then They must pay the keffara and make up the broken days. In addition to that, They must pay 27 kilograms of food for every missed month to the needy people if the make up days were delayed till the next Ramadhan.

Q4: If one remains janabah until the azan for fajr prayers during Ramadan out of ignorance, is his fast valid?

A: If he did not know that deliberate staying in the state of Janabah till dawn nullify the worship of fasting then it is valid.
It is also valid if he did not know that he was in the state of Janabah till after dawn when he realized it.

Q5: I have two homes, one at city and other at my native village, the distance between them is about is 200km, my routine life is that, I live at city home and at the beginning or at the middle of the month I go to my native village for some days stay there, where I performed full prayer's, the stay at other place is not fixed, some times I live few days, or return on the same day as required, my question is that during the month of Ramadan can I travel to my native village in fasting, because I want to celebrate the Eid Fiter at their, is it allowed to travel? I have a fear that if I missed the fasting it will be difficult for me to perform qazza fasting, please help me?

A: If the native village was your hometown where you used to live and you did not abundant it – you still consider it as your home town – then your prayer must be offered in full and fasting can be offered as well.
If the native village was not your hometown or it was but you abundant it – not consider it as your hometown anymore – then you must offer shortened prayer and your fasting would be broken if you traveled before noon.
