Q1: Would one buy goods from someone who sells Alcohol in his shop?

A: Yes, but it is better to choose shops that do not sell such prohibited items.

Q2: I am currently being accepted in the position of a manager in a supermarket that sells alcohol. If there is no staff, I might have to work as a cashier and people might be purchasing alcohol. Am I allowed to work in this company?

A: It is prohibited to sell wine even indirectly by acting behalf of the company.

Q3: What is your ruling on Network Marketing?

A: The said dealing is lawful but if it cause harm to the financial welfare of the general devotees then it becomes prohibited.

Q4: I was wondering if it halal to own and operate a restaurant franchise that sells food that is haraam. The store sells sandwiches; some are made from non-zabiha meat, some are vegetarian and some contain sea food. Note: That the restaurant DOES NOT sell any alcohol.

A: It is not permissible to sell and buy prohibited to consume food.

Q5: I work in a store as a cashier, sometimes a customer say keep the change if he give me more money, so do I have the option of keeping the change for the cash or taking it for myself?

A: If it was understood that the customer paid the money for you, then you can take it. If S/he intended to keep it to the store, then it should be given to the store.

Q6: Is working in a supermarket where alcohol is sold haram?

A: If it does not lead to sell alcohol, then it is permissible.

Q7: I am a seller in material of sonorization like woofers, tweeters, amplifiers, microphones.. different lighting .. musical instrument like guitar violent synthesizer… I want to know if what I sell is prohibited or no?

A: It is prohibited to sell musical instrument and it is permissible to sell other instruments.

Q8: Is it permissible to sell the Quran?

A: Yes, it is permissible.

Q9: Is it permissible to print a translation of the Quran, with the Arabic text along side it, and then give/sell it to anyone who wants it. Even if they are non-believers?

A: Yes, it is permissible.
